WE'RE PASSIONATE ABOUT RUNNING

Prestwich AC was started in 1988 by husband and wife duo Roger and Pam Davies. Both were keen to combine their love of running and socialising with others in their local community.

That connection continues within the club as we focus on enjoying and improving our running while also making connections and new friends along the way.

We are a very sociable club and have a wide range of ages from our juniors to V75 runners, showing we're open to all ages and most abilities (if you can run a parkrun/5km we have options available). As a club we do have race championship's and more competitive running members, but also social members who simply want to join us for a group run every few weeks.

We're passionate about two things Running and building a better community.

PAC JUNIORS

Prestwich Junior Athletic Club is a branch of the club for 8 to 13 year olds.

The purpose of the club is to deliver safe, organised athletics sessions in a friendly and fun environment. These sessions provide exercise and enjoyment, regardless of ability, with the emphasis very much on participation and maximum involvement.

Our team of volunteer coaches are all experienced athletes and members of Prestwich Athletic Club.

Training sessions are held on Friday evenings, 6:30 to 7:30 pm on the sports field close to Prestwich Cricket, Tennis and Bowling Club.

Juniors can also come along to track sessions which are held fortnightly on a Wednesday at 7pm at Bury AC's track.
