Windy Hill

SiEntries - Windy Hill Fell Race

Starting at the Rams Head, high up above Saddleworth, you will head out towards Hollingworth lake before climbing up to Blackstone Edge before a high moorland traverse along the Pennine Way to the mast at Windy Hill before dropping down to the Ogden Valley and the last climb up to the finish at the Rams Head where free hot soup awaits (or treat yourselves and contact the pub to book a table for a delicious pub meal).

As this is a winter race, full FRA kit is required:

• Waterproof jacket and trousers

• Hat and gloves (A buff is acceptable for a hat)

• Traditional map and compass (digital maps are accepted if you have a paper map as well. No digital compass allowed)
