This years took place on Sunday 31st August at 12.00 Noon, starting at Sedgeley Park Rugby Club and covers the area around Prestwich Clough, Irwell Valley sculpture trail and Phillips' Park. 

It certainly  is a race with a difference! It's 8 miles, all off road, rural and quite demanding (and a fair bit of mud!) and with a variety of interesting obstacles.The challenges include going through a tunnel, along a stream, rope and tyre challenges and lots more. There are prizes for different categories both for individual and teams. The money raised all goes to local charities.
